Barbara is a graduate and qualified trainer and assessor, with over twenty years' experience of the training, education and lifelong learning sector. Barbara has worked across a wide range of sectors, including construction, management, care, hospitality and retail. Barbara has developed national standards and has expertise in functional skills. Barbara is a Fellow of the Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce and a Fellow of the Institute of Assessors and Internal Verifiers. Barbara is also an approved consultant with the Children’s Workforce Development Council, part of the sector skills council for care and development. Barbara is an experienced presenter and facilitator and has excellent interpersonal and communication skills. |

Harry formed HZ Management and Training Consultancy in 1991. Since that time he has provided consultancy, research and training for over 100 different organisations including national bodies, government departments, local authorities, NHS trusts and voluntary agencies. Previously, he worked as an external consultant to local authorities in England and Wales with the Local Government Management Board. More recently he has led a number of important research projects for Skills for Care, including the development of the Social Care Leadership and Management Strategy. He is a chartered member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, has a certificate in e-learning and is a qualified NVQ assessor. He became a Fellow of the RSA in 2003. He has been a trainer and facilitator since 1979. |

Pauline has extensive experience of working within the post-16 learning and skills sector. She holds a teaching qualification and a Masters degree in Education. Her areas of expertise include vocational learning, Skills for Life, learning and development, and employability. Pauline has undertaken desk and field research, and has written reports, case studies, guidance documents and teaching and learning materials. She
is a member of the Association for Management Education and Development
and the Workplace Basic Skills Network. |

Suzanne
is of Caribbean heritage, brought up in the UK. With 27 years experience
working in the public sector, her passion is enabling people to fulfill their
potential both personally and professionally. One of the original pioneers
of diversity in social work in the 80s and early 90s, Suzanne also helped to
develop and implement the standards frameworks, including the first NVQs in
social care, while at the Local Government Management Board. |

Gill Sharp has a background in careers consultancy, writing and assessing. Gill has worked with a range of organisations providing guidance, advice and coaching to university students; young people and career changers. Her specialist areas of expertise are careers in law; art and design; the performing arts; teaching; medicine and sports science. Gill has written many educational reports, designed materials for a variety of career management courses and produced articles for magazines and websites. Gill has also collaborated on three books on a range of guidance topics. Gill has worked throughout the UK as an assessor for the Diploma in Careers Guidance, Qualification Careers Guidance and NVQ programmes. She is also an assessor for the National Council for Work Experience. |
